I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Mother's Day!!

This weekend was great overall, although we did get some sudden and sad news today. Mike's uncle passed away suddenly this afternoon. So that definitely changed the mood of the day and we are waiting to hear about the funeral arrangements for later this week.
On a better note, Mike was off these past 3 days and it was WONDERFUL to experience a normal weekend and have so much time together as a family. Today, we had lunch at my parents' house, the boys got me a pretty pair of diamond earrings and we just got to have fun this weekend. In the midst of all this, potty training is continuing to go very well!
I also have some news to share and I figured that Mother's day is a good a time as any...
We are expecting baby #3 in December!!! It is a little on the early side to share this but we have told many friends so at this point, I figured, why not share here too??
An ultrasound last week confirmed that baby is the right size and everything appears good at this point. We are very excited to be waiting for this new life to join us... morning sickness has been easier to keep at bay this time (my only real discomfort during pregnancy). So I don't know if I am just managing it better or if my body is just more "experienced" this time around?
On that note, Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms who inspire me everyday with your stories, advice and sense of humor!!!

Congratulations! Trying out a new season to have a baby, eh? ;) And morning sickness was my big problem when pregnant, and the 3rd was definitely the easiest. You just don't have the time to give into it. I'd be making breakfast for the older two, run and throw up, and then back to business. No time to wallow in the bathroom feeling sorry for myself.

Wow, that's exciting - congratulations!!! There's a baby boom coming up this winter in my circle - I've had SO many friends announce they are pregnant in the past few weeks. Crazy, I can't wait to hear more!
