Real Quick

I am a bit overwhelmed this week...and bummed out by multiple car repairs that have thrown off our delicate one-income-family budget...and hubby is making me a little bit batty...and the boys are STIR CRAZY...and my period is back with a vengeance (sorry if that's TMI friends). But I started my birth control pill and SO, next month should be better.

Anyway, all I want to do is whine so INSTEAD, let me point you to something that you might have missed and then maybe you can cheer me up with comments?? Because, you know, you have free time, hahaha...

FIRST: Take a look right here where there is a picture of my 3 littles... For your reference: Michael is wearing a blue shirt, Liam is wearing green/gray and Chloe is that little angel hanging out with them :)

THEN: Take a look over here and see if you can guess who's who in the baby pics. There is one comment/guess from MOMommy...see if you agree with her guesses :)

I never actually solicit for comments like this so you know I'm bummed. If you have an idea of where I live, then you know we are getting bombarded by snow AGAIN this evening and tomorrow. I assure you my state of mind has nothing to do with the snow & the fact that hubby will be home tomorrow is a GOOD thing (even though he is bugging me at present).

I'm feeling like I need something else to think about (like, maybe start part-time work) but the thought of adding anything to my life right now stresses me out!!!!!

I feel the same way lately. And I don't even have snow as an excuse! =)

I'm off to guess at the kids' pics...

Ugh...it's hard, isn't it? And I know that 6 months ago, I crouching with the 3 kids in our unfinished basement praying for cold weather because it was just too hot to do anything. And now it is exactly the opposite. These extremes just sap the fun out of things.

Hope today is a better day!

Cloe, Michael, Liam are my guesses for your pics.
We are going stir crazy here too. I actually bought a book of preschool activities because I stink at coming up with my own ideas. It is helping me do more things with Sean and Hailey. Might be worth investing in something like that. I like the one I got especially because most of the supplies you need are already in your house.

I know it's hard work to occupy little ones time. And then you feel like you need to do something for yourself that doesn't involve little ones. A couple ideas, bring the snow in and have them go to town. Another thing that we've been doing and it sounds insane is mixing baking soda with vinegar. It seriously kept them busy listening to the bubbles for like 40 minutes while I got to clean the kitchen. Also, since you and I are blog junkies, check out some cool cooking ones and on a day like this, make a new recipe. Gather up the ingredients at "nap" and have them help cook, that way you've done something grown up and they got to participate. I love this blog and am making the butter chicken tomorrow. Chili today!

So sorry you're having a tough week. The snow is enough to drive us batty, too, and we don't have as much as you guys! Two days in a row our preschool/lessons have been cancelled and we're stir crazy. I'm hoping that spring comes quickly. hang in there!
