Now that I have a little girl, I have been trying to think of a way to amend the name to include Chloe without changing it entirely. I am not going to change the web address, just the title.
I like my initial addition "now with a hint of pink" but that was just a temporary solution.
Any ideas? I haven't come up with anything I like...

I don't think you were reading yet back when I was just "Katydid", and then I changed it when David came around, and now I'll be changing it again. I think this time I'll do something about mommy-hood rather than the kids just because I was a permanent name!
It would be cute to do something that has to do with that poem that you are referencing, like "Two puppydog tails and some sugar". Not exactly that, but some combination of boys and girls from that poem. I don't know, though, I'm struggling with my own.
I have been thinking of this off and on, and I just can't come up with a way to make anything flow with what you've already got. I'm glad I could just change the ending of mine...obviously I am not very creative with the whole naming thing.
I like Emily's idea of playing with the poem somehow...I just can't seem to think of how...
You can mark this down as the most useful comment ever.
Hmmm...
Well, I kinda like the hint of pink, myself. I mean, she's a third child, sure, but the only girl, so I think she'll adjust. Or at least that temporary status can go on for a while (they don't read until school, right? :)
OR....

apparently, the popular rhyme was part of a larger poem. So you could change it to "Little babies are made of..." but the boys really aren't babies, per se, even though they'll always be YOUR babies.
I like the last verse, too: "all folks are made of" - and maybe you could change it to read "little children are made of" or "all kids.."
or even "little boys (and a baby girl) are made of...
or "Mixing puppy dog tails with sugar and spice" - so keeping the reference the same while changing the wording totally. something like that?
this is a tough one! good luck!
