Opportunity Knocks (finally) *happy photos added

I was just about to go over the edge.  Feeling bummed out about our collective lack of job prospects.
Tired of hearing NO RESPONSE to job applications and resumes.  And my own efforts have been mediocre at best, to be honest.

Then this morning...Mike got a call for a great job prospect.  He clearly passed the phone screening and has an interview tomorrow at 2pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am beyond thrilled and trying really hard not to get ahead of myself.  But I am SO excited and hopeful that this will be the offer that comes through!

Keep us in your thoughts, we are really, really struggling over here.  And getting disheartened about the situation.  And that my friends, is really hard on a family (not to mention on a marriage).  Mike and I are generally very good about not placing blame on each other and keeping our relationship positive...but the extended nature of this household's jobless status is starting to take a toll.  We want to be able to move forward, to provide properly for our children.

This job will allow Mike to continue to work in his field of choice and at the same time, provide room for growth, a decent income and the stability that comes from working for a reputable company.  And it sounds like Mike would be a perfect match for the job.
