Right now...

-I'm listening to my neighbor yammer on about prozac/panic attacks/heaven knows what else.
I closed the front door but alas, I can still hear her.  Meh.

-I'm trying to work on having a civil relationship with aforementioned neighbor.  She hates me but the house on the other side of us is up for sheriff's sale and WHO KNOWS what will happen there. So- the devil you know is preferable to the devil to you don't.

-The children are sleeping- it was a rough evening where all 3 were very high strung.  Not a fun bedtime process.

-Chloe is on her second night in her crib-converted-to-toddler-bed.  So far, so good :)

-I can also hear Jewel singing on the lullaby cd that plays in the boys room.

-I am anticipating my 2nd day at my new job tomorrow.  Today I went to main office for a couple of hours to do HR paperwork and related training.  Tomorrow is training on actual job-related stuff.  I am off to a good start.  Tentatively excited to have found a position that will work.

-I am excited thinking about an upcoming vacation we have planned.  We will be spending a few days in Ocean City, Maryland (I heart this place!).  Believe it or not, it is our first family vacation that is just US.  No extended family is going along.  I feel a little bit guilty about leaving my parents out because they do SO much for us.  But we've never done this...Mike and I went to the beach once before children, just the 2 of us.  Other than that and our honeymoon, we've always gone away with other family members.  Which is generally very fun- but we're looking forward to the bonding time.  Michael is done school on the 8th and we leave on the 10th (his birthday).  We will stay over one night at Mike's brother's house and then head to Ocean City the next morning.  I can't wait!!
