I am constantly amazed by how small the world can seem...
Some of you probably already know this BUT I just found out that fellow blogger Kate (whose blog I recently read for the first time) is a relation of Giselle (whose blog I have been reading for about 2 months) AND that same Kate is the local children's librarian for Emily (whose blog I have been reading for several months).
Am I the only one who doesn't know everyone in real life?? Am I not in the clique??
So far, my only real-life blog connection is Kristi over at FloridaInk
We went to college together and she is the one who first introduced me to blogging.
It IS a small world afterall...

I think what happens when you start blogging is that you gradually find out about people you know (even if it's indirectly or distantly) who blog, so you start reading those, and you link over to their friends, etc. I had been reading Kate's blog for a long time (her sister Giselle went to college with Kelsey, Erin, and my best friend from HS - who doesn't blog, but we're working on her) before I ever met her or even realized that she was the librarian where I took the kids. THAT was a small world when I figured that out.
I DID know that about Kate and Giselle, but NOT about Kate being Emily's librarian. CRAZY!
Here's another one for your small world: Giselle, Kelsey (at mdwestmom) and I were all friends in college.
I should add that Kristi and Kelsey are distant relatives- although I am not sure of the specifics.
Hey Jane- I figured Erin and Kelsey knew each other from their comments or some posts... but didn't get the Giselle / Kate connection. Sometimes I get confused trying to follow a new blog with lots of kids- who belongs to who? how are they related? I save those for when I have more brain power (less and less these days). Oh, and Kelsey is technically (pause as I check family tree maker)... "wife of my first cousin once removed". Or, my cousin's daughter in law. The ages are off b/c my dad (who had me late) is 9 yrs younger than his sister (who had her kids earlier). So my cousins are about 20 yrs older than me, but some of their kids are just a few years younger than me. Too much info, probably!
