Today was a pretty good day. We went to the store & the boys took great naps. It was cold but nice & sunny, too. We even saw a light dusting of snow flurries on the cars. Just enough to let us know that winter is approaching.
I was enjoying my kid-free time this afternoon when all of the sudden- WHAM!- migraine central. Another one? UGH! It was short but potent. I felt nauseated which is not a symptom I usually experience. I am trying to track my migraine trends these days but always forget to note them on the calendar so I am using this blog. I felt like I was in a fog at the store this morning and now I know why- a migraine was lurking. I'm extra irritated if I get hit with one when I'm not "supposed" to. Luckily, it responded to just Advil and I was able to get rid of it within a few hours.
My parents came over for dinner which was fun. All in all, it was a good day!
Positives: I am starting to see evidence of the relationship that is developing between Michael and Liam. They interact more these days, joke around with each other and seem to really like playing together. It's a very cool thing to see. Liam learns SO much from Michael. My hope is that they will always be close and be able to count on each other.
PS: Tomorrow I see the daycare that is run by my new employer. Keep your fingers crossed that I get a better vibe! I am also visiting an in-home daycare on Thursday. The clock is ticking and I need to figure this out ASAP...
