Confessional...
3. The handful of times when I have been SO desperate for silence that I have actually said the words "shut up" to one or both of my boys...NOT PROUD
2. When I have demonstrated poor anger management skills by winging something across the room (not in the direction of a person) because I was just THAT frustrated...NOT PROUD
1. The time I argued with Mike on the phone and hung up without saying our usual "I love you" or even just "Good-bye". Michael asked me what was wrong and I thoughtlessly responded "Oh nothing honey but Mommy might just have to kill Daddy". To which Michael replied "NO MOMMY, you can't kill Daddy! We NEED a DADDY!"
At that point, I had to quickly explain that Mommy would not actually kill Daddy and that I was just upset blah-blah-blah. What is wrong with me exactly?
NOT PROUD? Um no- FELT LIKE DIRT

I've been there too! Not proud moments.
I love your honesty. Had a bloggy confessional today too.
Been there with you! One of my "proudest" moments was when I was angry at one of the kids for kicking something that I kicked a toy really hard and yelled, "We do NOT kick things when we are mad!!" Great example setting, Mom...
I just happened on your blog when I was blog hopping and I read your more recent post about being embarrassed about posting this one, so I read this one expecting some pretty awful things. Honey, I defy you to find a mom that hasn't slipped and done one of each of these things. No need to be embarrassed, you just make the rest of us mommies feel a little more normal for slipping and doing these things too.
