I hate when you are trying to setup a play date with someone (initiated by that someone) and they say something like, "Tell me what days work for you next week".
So you send them 3 out of 5 days of availability
(or 60% availability for those of you who like percentages)
Then they say, "Oh, sorry, none of those days work for me."
Or better yet...you get NO response at all for over a week.
?????
First of all: If you don't want to get together, then don't ask in the first place or just say no if I initiate.
Second of all: If you have a busy week coming up, then just say so or send me your availability first.
I understand that things come up for all of us...many people have super-packed schedules. We are not one of those families at this point. Just don't make me feel like I am wasting my time.

yes! i am right there with you. i sometimes have to check my calendar- ok. always- but do try to set things up as quick as i can... hmm, wait. i might be one of those ppl. no, cuz i give alternatives! i think!
We all have moments like this- no doubt, I do too. But honestly, it doesn't go this way EVERY time someone tries to schedule with me. Giving alternatives/other ideas is the perfect solution IMHO. I would not be upset/bitter about that type of response :)
