It has been a bit of a roller coaster....too many ups and downs for my tastes.
I haven't even talked about Christmas.
I don't know what kinds of resolutions to make.
I don't know what the future holds.
I start a new job on Thursday (insert internal panic here).
I have pictures to share from Christmas, in particular one gift that is representative of the year in that it is a sort of roller coaster (see generic image below).
I have video of the kids riding it that I will post later. It takes up our whole house (well, it feels that way!). It is technically Chloe's gift- the boys got new bikes. It is definitely a hit with all 3 kids and get this...after a disappointing trip to T/R/US, I ordered this directly from Step 2 the Tuesday before Christmas with up to a 10 day lead time on shipping. Got the best price and paid only 99 cents shipping. It was here on FRIDAY!! Step 2 is my new favorite company :)

I hope the new job goes well - I'm sure you'll be fantastic - and that 2012 brings you only good things.
That is my kids' favorite toy ever. We don't own it, but we have several friends that do. I think you'll definitely get your money's worth :)

We have a sandbox from that company we got when Noah was 2. He's 10.5 now and it's been in continuous use since then and has only now got a crack in the lid that lets in the rain. Not bad a bad return on investment.
