Nine

Today marks 9 years of wedding bliss for Mike and I.  Somehow, we always manage to be arguing about something in the days leading up to our anniversary...which makes the actual day interesting.

Luckily, we always manage to clear the air and get back on track.  Sometimes, we are just overdue for a good talk--with 3 kids constantly interrupting, that's hard to come by.  You would think that since Mike has been home more, we would have plenty of chat time...but that is not the case.  The children demand the full attention of any and all adults...I am certain other households work the same way.

Mike and I don't always handle everything perfectly...and recent times have brought us higher stress levels and shorter fuses.  But at the end of the day, I love him so much and he is my best friend.

So here's to 9 years and, God willing, the upcoming 9 will see the road rising up to meet us, setting out a more distinct path.  We are ready for whatever life has to offer us next!!
