Foul odors

Like the title? Well, this time I am not referring to any diaper aromas. It appears that there may be a problem with our local sewer system (public sewer, not a septic system). Our basement stinks. Luckily there is no evidence of said sewage and I am praying that I don't wake up to any little (or big) surprises in the morning. Ugh! I should also mention that as I post this the local time is 11:14pm and Michael is still awake and playing in his crib (or possibly on the floor since he can now escape from his crib). Sigh... I'm going to check on him now, wish me luck!
